I’m not sure about the name of this. Does this sound appealing to you, or like you’re going to eat chopped monkey? In any case, I assure you, it’s entirely vegan, and delicious, and perhaps even a little bit healthy too…it’s something I like to chug down after a workout or when I’m craving a chocolate-peanut butter kick in my day. Which roughly equates to….every day. This bad boy recipe makes one serving, but, like all my smoothie recipes, there is a lot of ‘wiggle room’ to amp it up!
- 1/2 banana
- 1 tbsp. nut butter (peanut for me, obviously)
- 3/4 cup milk of preference (I use soy)
- 1 tbsp. cocoa or cacao powder
- 1/2 cup water
- a handful of ice cubes
Blend that shit. Drink and see into the great beyond of monkey-ness, and wonder how you would ever exist without chocolate, banana, or peanut butter.

Yummy! I make a similar shake, but I use frozen bananas, Raw Meal shake mix in Chocolate flavor, and almond milk.
Do some research on soy milk Hun. I have been hearing that women shouldn’t be drinking soy milk.
Yeah I heard that too, Janelle! I’ve started buying coconut milk instead. I have a few more soy to use up but think I’ll probably stay switched after they’re gone. What was it specifically about soy milk that was harmful?
