This is the second post dedicated to an artist who’s talent continues to impress me – Liana Marie! You can check out her interview, which was featured last week, here. She was kind enough to lend me a few pieces to showcase to all of you. These are just suggestions for how to match these amazing pieces. They seriously speak for themselves – they are high quality, obviously painstakingly crafted by hand. And they are cute! I was surprised at how delighted I was with their versatility, not to mention how easy they were to pair with other jewels and different types of outfits. An even better part? They are classic, bridging generations – both my mother and I were smitten with various pieces from Liana’s collection (I am currently seriously coveting the Samantha as well as the Elvia – swoon to both!). Stay tuned for a very exciting third part to this series, that may or may not involve you guys being able to win a Liana Marie original!
I love that the Samantha necklace complements other jewelry I wear on a consistent basis – namely, this tiny medallion that was given to me when I was born. It’s flattering and definitely a piece I could see myself wearing most days of the week. The fun part? It’s a working locket.
The Mabel bracelet is lovely and solid. It reminds me of a high quality watch band and adds the right amount of gold to an outfit without being over the top. I could pair this with any number of bracelets – the brass is such a nice pairing with other bracelets featuring bits of gold or brass.

This necklace ended up being a surprise favourite for me! The gunmetal base looks tough, but is balanced out nicely by the crystals and flecks of gold. I chose a particularly ladylike outfit to pair it with, although it would work super well with a tougher, biker-inspired look (think: black zip moto jacket, motorcycle boots). Again, what I love about her pieces is the incredible versatility. This piece is awesome enough to be a showcase all on its own! A great show stopper.
I can’t even express how much I love her stuff. Check out her Etsy shop and stay tuned for the next installment, which may prove to be exciting for a lucky reader!
